Welcome to the Canadian Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)! …bringing people together in God’s love, to build relationships, explore faith, and transform lives and the world.

We are grateful to the original caretakers of this land, indigenous peoples from coast, to coast, to coast who welcomed the first settlers to these shores. We acknowledge that our buildings, ministries, communities, and homes rest on land that was stolen from them. We seek to walk humbly the path of truth and reconciliation, and to build better relationships with indigenous peoples across Turtle Island.

Gospel calls us to be in relationship with ourselves, one another, and with God. Explore special events and initiatives that bring people together for worship, learning, support, and to connect with others.

It is our unique gift and calling as the church to walk with one another on the path of understanding what life means.  We don’t have all the answers, but we do have an inquisitive spirit and a deep desire to understand and appreciate more fully what it means to be human, to be part of this planet, to be “children of God,” and the church. Explore resources and opportunities to join with others seeking deeper understanding, spiritual growth, and faith formation.

As Disciples of Christ, we try to follow in the footsteps of Jesus who lived and taught a different way of being: to seek justice in all aspects of life and for all creation. God’s justice is decidedly different than the justice we know in our modern systems, contexts, and society. We seek to respond to the call to live just lives that recognize our intrinsic interconnectedness, to challenge and dismantle the systems of oppression that we have inherited and that have so much power, and to stand in solidarity with those who suffer. Explore how Canadian Disciples are actively engaging in a variety of social justice initiatives here in Canada and around the world.
